Activity Coordinator
Do you want to make a difference in people's health and well-being? Do you want to plan and lead social and physical activities? We are now looking for an engaged Activity Coordinator who wants to contribute to increased joy of movement, community, and healthy aging for our participants. With us, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and health educators. We warmly welcome your application!
Meeting Points 65 works from a public health perspective and offers health-promoting activities for people over 65 years old. Meeting Points 65 is part of the mission for open and early interventions and includes 15 meeting points spread across the municipality, with strong cohesion and close collaboration among employees.
We offer social, physical, and knowledge-giving interventions as well as advice and support for good eating habits, with the goal of promoting health, independence, and community. In the operations, activity coordinators with various professional backgrounds, such as health educators, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, work.
The operations are in a significant development phase, where creativity, innovation, and participation are important cornerstones. There are good opportunities for both personal and operational development.

Job Description
You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and developing social and physical activities for our target group. The role may also include introducing participants to the gym and motivating them for safe and individualized training. You will work both independently and in a group, lead activities, and contribute to strengthening participants' knowledge, motivation, and involvement in their own health. The position is full-time, and working hours are scheduled on weekdays between 07:00-15:30 or 08:00-16:30.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a trained occupational therapist, physiotherapist, health educator, or has an equivalent education that the employer deems relevant for the position. It is a requirement that you have general knowledge of aging. To succeed in the role, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. It is an advantage if you have experience leading group activities.
You have the ability to work independently and trust your own judgment. Furthermore, you adapt easily to changing circumstances and can quickly change your perspective and approach. You work well with others and relate to them in a responsive and flexible manner. You easily grasp and see opportunities with new ideas, methods, and ways of working, and drive and implement change. Last but not least, you are innovative and often come up with ideas and new approaches to work-related issues.
