Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we adapt our offerings based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

We are now looking for two nurses to join our team at Gimo Health Center with branches in Alunda and Österbybruk. We offer permanent full-time positions starting by agreement. A probationary period may apply.

Your mission

As a nurse with us, you will have varied tasks and meet patients of all ages. The role includes telephone advice, individual patient visits, and on-call duties where patients with acute conditions are cared for. You will work closely with other professionals at the health center. The job also includes working in various data systems.

Your competence

We are looking for a licensed nurse who is positive, has a flexible working style, and a good ability to collaborate with others in the team while also having the experience and drive to work independently. Experience in primary care is an advantage. We place great importance on the ability to develop the operations together with other professional categories at the clinic as well as personal qualities.

Since home visits may be part of the job, a B driver's license is required.

Our operations

The position is at Gimo Health Center with branches Österbybruk Health Center and Alunda Health Center. There we offer dietitian, physiotherapist, doctor, child healthcare, maternity care, youth health, psychologist, social worker, laboratory testing, and elderly care.

Gimo Health Center, together with the branches Österbybruk and Alunda, has approximately 11,500 registered patients and a total of over 60 employees. All professional areas within the health center's mission are represented.
