ValueOne is looking for an Operational Buyer for direct materials for one of our clients in the manufacturing industry in Örnsköldsvik. The role arises due to a vacancy and the expertise is needed continuously in the organization. The assignment starts in the spring and you will be employed by ValueOne with placement at the client.

ValueOne specializes in supply chain management, purchasing, and logistics. We offer our clients services in three business areas: renting purchasing and logistics consultants, recruiting buyers and logisticians, and Management Consulting where ValueOne develops our clients' purchasing, logistics, and supply chain in terms of strategy, model, method, process, organization, and competence.

About the role
As an operational buyer, you are the one who keeps production flowing by ensuring that the right materials are in place, in the right quantity, at the right time, and at the right price. You have daily contact with suppliers, strategic purchasing, and production planners. The job suits you who like to keep track of details, solve problems efficiently, and make things happen.

• Be responsible for operational purchases of direct materials for production.
• Ensure material availability for the production line and manage daily purchasing needs.
• Handle ongoing change requests related to production and material flows.
• Follow up on deliveries and ensure that necessary actions are taken.
• Work with replanning in case of deviations and changed conditions.

Experience and competence
To succeed well in the role, you have previous experience in operational purchasing within the manufacturing industry. You have good system skills, are a proficient user of Excel, and speak and write fluently in English and Swedish. We see it as advantageous if you have a post-secondary education in purchasing, economics, or logistics, and if you have previously worked in the SAP business system.

We believe that you are meticulous and have a structured working method. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills and are a skilled communicator.
