Your Future Challenge

Hägglunds in Örnsköldsvik is in an expansive phase. To meet the high demand, BAE Systems Hägglunds is recruiting a Strategic Buyer in Indirect Procurement.

We currently have 22 driven and engaged employees working as buyers in Indirect Procurement. Indirect Procurement involves purchasing in categories such as Real Estate, Transportation, Travel, Patents, Machinery Investments, Chemicals, Supplies, Security, Consulting, and IT.

The position now to be filled focuses on Consulting Services. You will be part of a team of 4 people.

As a Buyer, you will work in a varied and stimulating environment where you have contact points internally with most departments and functions and with our suppliers.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities in this role include, among other things:

• Supplier and contract responsibility
• Supplier development (relationships, KPIs, and innovations)
• Procurement
• Requests/Quote evaluations
• Supplier evaluations
• Contracts (writing and project management)
• Risk assessments
• Creating procurement strategies and implementing them
• Leading cross-functional teams in projects/contracts
• Target cost management

We work in category teams composed of various roles and specialists.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone with experience in purchasing consultants or experience in HR or law. You have a relevant university degree or other relevant education in, for example, procurement, HR, law, or economics.

As a person, you are good at communicating and creating good relationships and collaborations. You have a strong personal drive. You are goal-oriented with the ability to lead, plan, and follow up both your own and others' work in a structured and careful manner. You have a long-term strategic approach and a strong commercial interest.
