With several hundred installed measuring machines across Sweden, the company is now responsible for service and support to both large and small customers within the industry. LK Scandinavia is the general agent for LK Metrology, Nikon Metrology, Scantech, and Automated Precision, offering market-leading solutions in industrial measurement technology.
Now, LK Scandinavia is looking for a competent technical salesperson who wants to work closely with the company's CEO and help drive sales forward. In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with business acumen, build long-term customer relationships, and sell market-leading measurement solutions alongside an experienced entrepreneurial team.

Job Description
As a Technical Salesperson at LK Scandinavia, you will work closely with the company's selling CEO, who will be your immediate manager and responsible for your onboarding. The role involves selling niche measuring equipment to experts and decision-makers in the manufacturing industry, such as automotive, defense, and other advanced industries throughout the Nordic region.

You will be responsible for the entire sales process, from incoming leads and your own prospecting to customer meetings, product demonstrations, quotes, negotiations, and closures. Sales cycles vary in length and can range from one week to more complex deals lasting up to one year.

The company will invest significant time and resources in your development and therefore sees the role as long-term. The ambition is to build a collaboration over time where you grow together with the company and become a central part of LK Scandinavia's future.

Your Profile
You are a driven and self-sufficient salesperson with strong personal motivation who takes initiative and thrives in a role where business requires both technical understanding and clear business acumen. You work systematically towards set goals, are prepared to put in the work required to succeed, and take full responsibility for your results. You believe in continuous development, are curious to improve over time, and have the ability to build trust with technical experts and decision-makers in the industry.

You preferably have experience from the manufacturing industry or industry-related sales and are comfortable working with customers and subcontractors in, for example, the automotive, defense, or other advanced industries. The role involves travel, and you enjoy working on-site with customers. You are motivated by long-term relationships, complex deals, and the opportunity to grow together with a company where the ambition is for the collaboration to be long-term.

Requirements

  • Experience in B2B sales to the manufacturing industry or industry-related businesses
  • Experience working with longer sales cycles and complex business processes
  • Experience in self-prospecting and active new customer acquisition
  • Ability to independently drive the entire sales process, from prospecting to closure
  • Strong personal drive with the ability to take initiative and work goal-oriented
  • Familiarity with working systematically towards set goals and taking full responsibility for results
  • Ability to build long-term trust with technical experts and decision-makers
  • Comfortable with travel in the role
  • Fluent in Swedish and good knowledge of English
Meritorious
  • Experience in technical sales or sales of advanced technical solutions
  • Experience from working closely with production, technology, or industrial processes
  • Familiarity with selling to larger industrial companies or their subcontractors

Additionally, there is an opportunity to participate in Sweden's largest sales event at Oscarsteatern and a 2-day sales training in Stockholm for those who want to further develop in their role as a salesperson.
