Sten & Vägarbeten is one of Värmland's largest land and construction companies, with roots dating back to the late 1950s and currently operating since 1971. With around 50 employees, we carry out larger land contracts for municipalities and authorities according to LOU, as well as assignments for private actors.

The business is organized into several specialized departments for fencing, larger contracts, and smaller ongoing land projects, which gives us broad expertise and makes us a complete and reliable partner in land and construction.

We are now looking for a skilled worker in fencing for our operations in Karlstad at Sten & Vägarbeten AB.

About the job

We are a workgroup of about 60 employees, of which 10 are office staff and 50 are skilled workers. With many exciting projects underway, we now need to strengthen our team with someone who has experience or interest in fencing assembly.

With us, you will be part of an engaged and positive team where quality and teamwork are at the center. We work with various types of fencing solutions – from industrial fences and area protection to residential fences and gates. The projects are mainly located around Karlstad, but also in other parts of Värmland and neighboring counties.

About the role

We are looking for someone who is practical, meticulous, and structured. You enjoy working both independently and in a team, and you take responsibility for delivering good results. You appreciate variety in your tasks and are not afraid to put in the effort where needed. Occasionally, travel and work in other locations may occur.

Your tasks

As a skilled worker in fencing, your tasks will include:

• Assembly of industrial fences, panel fences, and residential fences
• Assembly of gates, barriers, and other related details
• Preparatory land work in connection with assembly
• Service and repair of existing fences

Qualifications

• Interest and understanding of construction or land work
• Good physical condition and ability to work outdoors in varying weather
• Structured and meticulous in your work
• Enjoy working independently and in a group
• Solution-oriented and proactive

Requirements:

• Valid B driver's license

Meritorious:

• Experience in fencing work or similar assembly
• Experience with machinery or training in construction
• Certification for excavators or other relevant qualifications
