At the clinic Center for Surgical Operations in Skellefteå, intensive care is provided for both children and adults, emergency and planned surgical care, anesthesia services with associated postoperative care, and sterilization services. The operations are conducted in close collaboration with the Surgical and Orthopedic departments as well as with other clinics in the hospital and within the region. In collaboration with the university, we also conduct research, development, and education.

We are now looking for nursing assistants for the Intensive Care Unit in Skellefteå who want to develop in their professional role and contribute to the continued development of the operations. Within the Intensive Care Unit, you have the advantage of working according to a work schedule model that allows for reduced working hours, increased time for recovery, and higher compensation for inconvenient working hours compared to the general agreement. RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better in an environment where no two days are alike.

In our department, you are involved in the care of intensive care patients who, due to surgeries, accidents, or severe illnesses, have compromised vital functions. The work consists of continuous monitoring of the patient's vital functions, nursing work, and documentation in a high-tech work environment. Our operations are multifaceted, and in addition to intensive care, you will also serve in our postoperative department and respond to certain alarm functions. You will work closely with nurses, physiotherapists, and doctors who together form a team around the patient and their relatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a certified nursing assistant education and a few years of experience working as a nursing assistant. Experience in intensive care or other healthcare settings is an advantage. Since nursing assistant is a protected title, you need to present a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or alternatively a work certificate that allows you to use the title until June 30, 2033, under the transitional provisions of the National Board of Health and Welfare.

You have the ability to prioritize, are meticulous and responsible. You have good collaboration skills and see the benefits of working in a team while also possessing the ability to work independently but ask for help when needed. You also actively contribute to a good work environment and relationships with colleagues both internally and externally. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Before employment, we will require you to present a criminal record extract that is no older than one year.
