Temporary Nurse for Night Shift

At Vilhelmina Health Center, approximately 60 employees work in various professions. We are part of Southern Lapland, base unit South, which consists of Åsele, Dorotea, and Vilhelmina. Our ambition is to collaborate between the locations. In addition to the reception and department, there are two mountain branches: a district reception in Saxnäs and one in Dikanäs. Our sparsely populated areas present a challenge for us, but with today’s digital solutions, we have many opportunities to work remotely and support our citizens.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, you will work alongside doctors, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists in a close and well-functioning collaboration. We value community, respect, and the ability to utilize each other's knowledge and experiences. The department has 8 care places, and patients come to the department via our reception or are transferred from hospitals. Every day, rounds are held in the department, followed by round work. We collaborate with the municipality in the discharge process. We have a geriatric reception, and the district nurse actively participates in the discharge process.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. You are curious about working in rural areas and enjoy working both independently and in teams. Previous experience in a care department and in emergency care is advantageous.
