The Home Care Service Björketorp is now looking for a dedicated and caring assistant

Härryda municipality is seeking a care assistant who wants to make a difference in people's everyday lives. With us, you will work closely with our users and contribute to safety, independence, and quality of life in their own homes.

We operate from our premises in the picturesque Rävlanda, a pleasant environment close to both nature and community.

Job Responsibilities

Your task with us is to provide our users with safe and good care, support in daily life, and a stimulating leisure time. Your main tasks will include supporting users in their homes with daily hygiene, social interaction, activities, escorting to doctor/community visits, and certain health and medical care tasks based on the users' individual needs. Your work will also include everyday chores such as cleaning, meal support, laundry, and more.

You will work day/evening shifts as well as weekend duties.

Co-planning

Härryda municipality works to increase basic staffing and reduce the need for hourly employment. Co-planning means that you have a home unit but may also work shifts in other units within the municipality as needed. The purpose is to ensure continuity and safe care for users while providing you as an employee with variety, broader experience, and opportunities for professional development. Training will be provided to ensure you feel secure.

Requirements

• Previous work experience in home care
• Driver's license
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Good digital competence, preferably experience with social documentation
• Ability to receive, perform, and follow delegated health care tasks
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility in daily tasks

Meritorious

• Experience with delegated health care tasks
• Experience with operational systems such as Treserva and TES
• Experience with work and documentation in the BPSD registry
