There are 2 people in the team working with mussel control. Mussel control involves opening and closing production areas for consumer safety based on the risk of high levels of toxins and bacteria/viruses.
Job Responsibilities
Your tasks will include everything from initially collecting mussel samples to communicating the test results. During a work week, you will collect and prepare mussel samples and send them for analysis to laboratories. You will receive test results, conduct a risk assessment, and communicate the results to the relevant businesses. You will also perform administrative tasks such as record-keeping. The work is flexible, within certain frameworks, and independent. You will have contact and collaborate with growers and harvesters. Your placement will be in Uddevalla, and travel by car to various companies in the region is included.

You are either graduated or studying; if you are studying, you should have completed the second year of your education. It is an advantage if you have done a thesis, advanced project, or similar on the subject of mussels. A B driver's license is required as the position involves travel. You have good knowledge of Swedish and can understand and communicate in English.
As a person, you are independent, flexible, and analytical. You have the ability to independently manage your work while also enjoying meeting others. You can adapt to changing conditions but also enjoy following given routines and instructions in your work. We will place great importance on your personal qualities.
