About the Position

As a maintenance engineer at Nordkalk, you are a key person leading projects and creating conditions for making the right investments for the future. Your focus is on optimizing the maintenance of the existing machinery while providing the basis for the right investments.

Your main tasks include:

• Independently driving projects
• Adapting to changes and managing unforeseen events
• Planning, leading, and following up on preventive and corrective maintenance
• Driving technical improvement projects together with production and operations
• Participating in investment projects – from idea to completed installation
• Analyzing root causes of failures and implementing long-term solutions
• Working with documentation, spare parts strategy, and maintenance systems
• Contributing to the development of our digital maintenance work in our business system IFS
• Working for the optimization of the machinery
• Driving projects related to health & safety

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with experience in a leading position in an operational production environment, preferably with experience in the quarrying or mining industry. Alternatively, you may have experience in a similar role within the industrial or construction sector. To succeed and thrive in this position, you possess a technical understanding of machines and production equipment. Furthermore, you have knowledge and experience with ISO standards, documentation, and quality requirements.

Since the role requires communication with various stakeholders, you need to be fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. You hold a driving license B.

We are looking for someone who

• Has an engineering degree with a focus on mechanical engineering, maintenance, industrial economics, or equivalent work experience
• Has experience working with technical maintenance in process industries, mining, quarries, cement, or similar
• Is accustomed to working both operationally and strategically with maintenance issues
• Has good system skills – preferably experience with maintenance systems
• Is communicative, structured, and solution-oriented
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

You are used to making decisions independently and are driven by creating conditions for a well-functioning and efficient machinery.
