Job Responsibilities

You will have an active role in the nursing work where you will have the opportunity to work in different teams and with a diverse patient group. In the department, you will encounter varying tasks where you will take significant responsibility and work closely with medical technology on complex patient cases.

This may include:

• Being responsible for the daily care of patients.
• Being involved in independently identifying risks for the patient and preventing them with measures, thereby actively contributing to the patient's recovery.
• Working in a team-focused manner with intensive/frequent monitoring around the patient using NEWS.
• Collaborating with various professions.
• Working with medical technology equipment.
• Encountering situations that develop your knowledge in, for example, advanced respiratory care.

About the Workplace

In the autumn of 2025, we opened a new department with 12 care places for patients with lung diseases. We belong to the Medical Clinic, a large clinic with a forward-thinking approach and many development opportunities. We work in teams with our patients where nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and discharge coordinators collaborate closely.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a nursing assistant education and a few years of experience as a nursing assistant. Since you will be working closely with medical technology and encountering complex patient cases, you need to be confident in your professional role and have knowledge of taking controls (e.g., NEWS, fluid balance, nutrition, etc.). We consider it a significant plus if you have previously worked closely with patients where you needed to follow their daily progress and continuously assess their health status. It is also advantageous if you have knowledge of respiratory aids and tracheostomy care. Since you will need to communicate verbally and in writing with patients, relatives, and colleagues, good knowledge of the Swedish language is required. Other language skills are a plus.

As an applicant, you have good collaboration skills, preferably with a twinkle in your eye and a solution-focused mindset. You are a flexible, loyal, and curious person motivated to learn new things. In your communication with others, you have the ability to listen and can be receptive to the other party while adapting to the situation. In your work, you take responsibility for your tasks and can make correct assessments and priorities.

Employment Conditions

Permanent employment, full-time. Start date according to agreement.
