We are a force that connects, holds together, and develops the region. Within Region Västernorrland, we are all part of something bigger.

The Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic is today one of the largest clinics in the country for the care of patients referred under the Act on Forensic Psychiatric Care (LRV). We also have a mandate to care for particularly demanding patients under the Act on Compulsory Psychiatric Care (LPT). The clinic currently has 135 care places, divided into 10 departments. RPK offers a good working environment with varied work and opportunities for personal and professional development in the field. We offer you a varied, independent, and responsible job where you will have patient contact and the opportunity to meet many new colleagues. We are now looking for a nurse who is interested in working with forensic psychiatric care.

Within the Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic, we work based on the role of contact person where you, as a nurse, have an overall care responsibility as part of a multiprofessional team. You will participate in planning, evaluation, and implementation of care measures, medication administration, risk assessments, care planning, functional assessments, conversations, rounds, and record-keeping. At the clinic, there are good opportunities to further develop in your professional role and take on greater responsibility in the organization through, for example, quality work, patient safety work, psychoeducational interventions, and group interventions. As part of your professional development, we use a competence ladder. Work is done in three shifts around the clock (morning, evening, and night shifts), and you will never work alone.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.
