With us, we offer among other things:

  • Operationally adapted introduction based on individual experience.
  • For those who are newly graduated, we have competitive and individual salary setting. The starting salary is 33,000 SEK/month plus an additional 2,500 SEK/week for full-time work during the period 260615-260809.
  • To be eligible for the extra salary payment according to this offer, you need to be trained and work full-time continuously for at least four weeks during the specified period.
  • Wellness card.

The employment is for a summer substitute, with the possibility of extension. Start date for summer substitutes is June 15 - August 9, 2026.

Your contributions as a nurse

Within Sundsvall Municipality, you will work as a nurse with health and medical care interventions, manage medications, document, make assessments, and guide other staff. You are responsible for ensuring that the medical interventions work well for our care recipients and coordinate contacts with doctors and other professionals within primary care and hospitals.

As a nurse within Sundsvall Municipality, you can work in the following areas: care homes, support and care homes, home care, and evening and night patrols.

Your qualifications and experience

You who are applying are a licensed nurse; we welcome both newly graduated and experienced candidates. Experience as a nurse is required to work evenings and nights. It is an advantage if you have specialized training in district nursing, geriatrics, or psychiatry. You need to have a B driver's license.

As a nurse in the municipality, you and your nursing colleagues have the highest medical competence. This means that you need to enjoy taking responsibility, have good initiative, and be able to work independently. You also contribute to good collaboration through clear and respectful communication with other professions. Of course, you have a good and respectful approach when interacting with care recipients and their relatives.
