Beroendecentrum Stockholm is Sweden's largest addiction clinic. We offer support and help to individuals with problems related to alcohol, drugs, medications, or gambling. Our services include acute and inpatient care, local outpatient care, and highly specialized treatment. We also conduct university hospital care, research, and education.

Workplace

At the Hässelby addiction reception, a multidisciplinary and cohesive team works together, consisting of nurses, doctors, receptionists, unit managers, and psychologists.

The reception receives individuals with harmful use and/or dependence on alcohol, drugs, and medications.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse, you will be responsible for your own patients and, in consultation with doctors, perform assessments and treatments based on evidence-based methods. We use care plans to increase patient participation and to follow up on treatment goals. Documentation is done in the Take Care journal system.

We expect you to be a licensed nurse, preferably with further education in psychiatry. You have worked as a nurse for a few years and feel confident in your role. Experience in addiction and/or psychiatric care is an advantage.

Employment Type

• background checks are applied before hiring decisions according to current guidelines.
• employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
• in addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
