The foil production is located at our facility in Björbo, Dalarna, beautifully situated next to Fänforsen. At the Björbo office, we have around 70 employees, divided between the parent company Allgon and Åkerström's sales operations. We are now looking for a Foil Design Operator for a temporary position from April 2026 to August 2027 to cover parental leave. We are looking for someone who wants to drive innovation and create customer value within our organization!

About the role

As a Foil Design Operator, you play a key role in our foil design operations and collaborate in a design team with two other colleagues in Europe.

All our radio transmitters are equipped with foils tailored to the customer's needs. These foils serve to display the product's functions and controls. In the role of design responsible for the foil, you will work on creating production documentation, developing designs based on input from our subsidiaries, and ensuring quality and structure in our processes. The role also involves being an important support for our subsidiaries and customers – both through digital communication and in meetings. Together with the design team, you will drive the development of our working methods and tools in the area.

Responsibilities:

• Create foil designs in collaboration with our subsidiaries
• Prepare and create production-ready sheets
• Support foil production and participate in improvement work
• Support subsidiaries and customers via email and meetings
• Lead and develop the foil design operations together with the design team, including programs and workflows
• Be responsible for content and updates in our PLM system
• Communicate with customers regarding deliveries and quality issues

You enjoy working both independently and in a team, and you have an eye for detail without losing the big picture.

We would like you to have the following skills and experiences:

• Relevant vocational/tertiary education
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to express yourself professionally with stakeholders
• Experience working in Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
• Knowledge of or experience in foil manufacturing and design is a strong merit.
• Interest in business development and improvement work
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driving license B
