As an Entertainment Host at Leksand Sommarland, you step right into the summer's most colorful and joyful experiences. You spread joy as our beloved mascot Billy Beaver and create memorable moments for both young and old – on stage, in the park, and in every interaction with guests.

Main Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of entertainment programs before the season starts

• Deliver simple stage performances in singing, dancing, and/or theater according to the park's programs and themes

• Interact with guests in a playful manner

• Conduct meet & greets, pool parties, and mini-discos with Billy Beaver, both in the park and at the campsite

• Be responsible for simple costumes and props and ensure their safe handling

• Ensure that all performances are conducted safely and according to guidelines

• Collaborate with colleagues in the team and other departments for smooth performances

• Face painting, hair styling, and working in the costume shop

• Assist in other stations as needed

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has a passion for entertainment and enjoys being in the spotlight. You are comfortable wearing the mascot costume and spreading joy through interaction with our guests, both on stage and in the park. You have experience capturing the audience's attention, preferably through singing, dancing, or theater, and enjoy working in a team. You have a positive attitude and maintain energy throughout the day, even during intense performances. Since the role involves a lot of guest contact, you need to speak fluent Swedish and English.

Working hours vary according to Sommarland's opening hours, generally between 09:30-18:30 every day of the week. The employment is a seasonal position at 50-100% and the summer season runs from June to August. Salary and other conditions according to the collective agreement with Vista-HRF Gröna riksavtalet. We offer staff accommodation and also have a staff campsite for those with their own van, caravan, or tent.

About us The amusement park Leksand Sommarland in Dalarna is a true adventure for families with children during the summer. Inside the gates awaits a wide range of activities and attractions. Some of our most popular attractions are the Wipeout course in Siljan, Laser tag, high ropes courses for big and small, and of course our Waterland with heated pools and winding water slides. Our 250 summer youth welcome up to 6000 guests per day.
