The Specialist Psychiatric Clinic 7, S:t Eriksplan is an outpatient clinic with a general psychiatric mission regarding assessment and treatment, as well as a specific mission to assess and treat patients with emotionally unstable personality disorder.

The clinic is located at S:t Eriksplan in Vasastan and belongs to the City section within Northern Stockholm Psychiatry. In the same building, there are five other specialist psychiatric outpatient clinics that belong to Northern Stockholm Psychiatry and two that belong to Psychosis Care Stockholm. At the clinic, we have just over 25 employees with extensive experience and broad competence. Here, medical secretaries, specialist doctors, psychologists, nurses, social workers, caregivers, and occupational therapists work. The staff at the clinic is highly engaged, and the atmosphere is good, while a change process is ongoing at the clinic.

We have eight psychologist positions, and in addition, we also have recurring PTP psychologists and psychology candidates. We currently have two parental leave vacancies to fill and are therefore looking for licensed psychologists with an interest in general psychiatric psychological work focused on personality disorders. The work at the clinic is conducted based on the care process maps formulated by SLSO, which outline how patients receive assessment, evaluation, and treatment based on evidence-based methods. We want to attract even more engaged and competent employees to provide psychiatric specialist care within the framework of the assignment from SLSO. Responsibilities

As a psychologist at the clinic, you will work with psychiatric assessment and in-depth diagnostics in the form of extended investigations and neuropsychiatric assessments, as well as with psychological treatment individually and in groups. Furthermore, the work includes interdisciplinary collaboration and mentoring and educating colleagues and students.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist with a CBT focus. You need to enjoy collaborating but also be independent, flexible, and take responsibility for your work. Training in dialectical behavior therapy and experience working in a DBT team is strongly meritorious. Additionally, competence in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), PE (Prolonged Exposure), and experience in neuropsychiatric assessment work is advantageous. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Conditions

Full-time for 12 months. Start date by agreement.

  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
  • In addition to Swedish professional licensing, good knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
