School Counselor at Ljunghaga School in Holsljunga

Ljunghaga School in Holsljunga is looking for a school counselor to join our student health team.

About the position

The assignment includes approximately one full day every other week. As a school counselor, you will be an important part of the student health team and work closely with special educators, school nurses, principals, and teachers. Together, we work to create good conditions for students' learning, health, and well-being.

Your role includes, among other things:

• holding conversations with students individually or in groups,
• working preventively and health-promoting,
• contributing with psychosocial competence in the school's development work,
• being a support for staff and guardians in matters concerning students' well-being.

We are looking for someone who

• is a social worker or has other relevant education,
• has experience working with children and young people, preferably in a school environment,
• is confident in your professional role, has good collaboration skills, and a solution-focused approach.
