We are now looking for an experienced Operational IT Contract Controller (Level 3) for a consulting assignment where you will play a key role in strengthening governance, control, and quality in the management of IT contracts and suppliers.

In this role, you will be a key person in the staff unit of the IT department, working closely with both the business, IT, and external suppliers. The assignment is operational and suits you who are structured, self-driven, and enjoy follow-up, control, and improvement.

The assignment requires that you have experience working in complex IT environments within operations and infrastructure, where there are many dependencies between systems, services, and suppliers.

About the role

As an Operational IT Contract Controller, you will work with the entire contract lifecycle – from signed contracts to follow-up, renewal, and supplier management. You are expected to see the big picture, identify risks, and ensure that contracts and supplier relationships long-term support the needs of the business.

Examples of tasks

The assignment includes, among other things:

• Be responsible for ongoing management and follow-up of IT contracts throughout the entire contract lifecycle
• Ensure contract compliance and identify risks, deviations, and improvement opportunities
• Support and guide purchasers and managers in their responsibility for supplier management
• Analyze and follow up on the utilization of contracted services and contribute to increased cost control
• Propose efficiencies and improved working methods within contract management and supplier management
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with external suppliers and internal stakeholders

Mandatory requirements

The consultant must have at least the following competencies and/or experiences:

• At least 4 years of current work experience in contract management regarding IT contracts
• At least 2 years of current experience in ensuring contract compliance for IT contracts within operations and infrastructure
• Experience in working with procurements
• Experience in working with license management
• Experience in collaboration and follow-up of external suppliers

Personal qualities (assessed during the interview)

• Structured with a good ability to plan, document, and follow up
• Ability to analyze large amounts of information and highlight what is relevant
• Good collaboration skills, helpful, and with a professional demeanor
• Quick learner, flexible, and able to adapt to changing conditions
