BUYER FOR ASSIGNMENT IN THE DEFENSE INDUSTRY

Condesign is currently seeking a buyer for assignments within the defense industry. The position is primarily located in Karlskoga and possibly Karlstad. Travel may occur in the role.

Operational Buyers

In the role of operational buyer, you will be responsible for assigned suppliers in the operational purchasing work. You will develop and maintain relationships with both existing and new subcontractors in daily operations. You will closely collaborate with strategic buyers and Supplier Quality Assurance within the relevant category. In addition, you will work with colleagues in production, development, quality, projects, and external suppliers.

Examples of tasks:

· Execute requested purchases by creating purchase orders against framework agreements or quotes from approved suppliers.

· Follow up and monitor order confirmations.

· Proactively monitor deliveries to ensure they occur by the agreed date and, if necessary, initiate increased delivery monitoring and quality checks.

· Regularly follow up on the performance of assigned suppliers.

· Check invoices against entered agreements to identify price discrepancies.

· Participate in supplier assessments as needed.

· Quotation work may occur on materials purchased continuously from existing suppliers.

· Be responsible for the operational purchasing-specific parts during purchase preparation and on selected purchase orders made together with Supplier Quality Assurance.

· Regularly report status against defined metrics.
