The Department of Public Outdoor Environment is responsible for the public environment you experience in Karlstad municipality.

We work with streets, parks, properties, and public land to create a safe and attractive public environment, where people have good conditions for a high quality of life.

The positions are placed within property management outdoor environment, which takes care of the municipality's outdoor environment across all its properties. The work is carried out both in-house and in collaboration with other actors.

Job Responsibilities

We need reinforcement for property management outdoor environment ahead of this year's season. We are looking for seasonal workers who want to work with green space maintenance in our city. Your daily work will be performed on the municipality's own properties and operations.

The length of employment is between 5-7 months and is scheduled between April - November. Selection will take place continuously during the application period.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is interested in green space maintenance. We prefer that you have previous experience in green space work.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and want you to be easy to collaborate with, responsible, solution-oriented, service-minded, and physically fit. Computer skills are a prerequisite as some administrative tasks are included in the job responsibilities. For the position, you must be able to communicate in Swedish.

You who apply for the job must have a B driver's license; it is an advantage if you also have a BE license and experience with riding lawn mowers. We would also like you to have a lift certificate and/or chainsaw license AB-E and experience in tree pruning.
