Our client is a manufacturing company with strong brands and a long tradition. They are market leaders in their manufacturing sector and offer products that stand for quality, sustainability, and reliability. With both Swedish and international customers, they are in an exciting growth phase and are now looking for a transport booker who wants to be part of the journey forward.

As a Transport Booker, you will be the hub for booking incoming and outgoing goods, working closely with production, warehousing, and marketing to ensure that materials and orders are delivered on time. You will have a dual role where you spend about 60% of your time on pure transport booking and about 40% on other administration. The position is full-time.

Your main tasks include:

• Booking shipments: Manage incoming orders and book transport via road through freight forwarders and carriers.

• Shipping documents: Create and verify shipping labels, packing lists, and any customs documents for international transport.

• Logistics planning: Optimize routes and loads to minimize costs and environmental impact.

• Price inquiries: Gather quotes and compare prices between different freight companies.

• Delivery monitoring: Track shipments and proactively manage any delays or discrepancies.

• Customer contact: Communicate with both customers and warehouse staff to ensure that goods are picked up and delivered on time.

The work is based at the office in Kungsbacka, with working hours from 07:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility, but no remote work.

You will be employed by Effektiv and work as a consultant for the client company. The assignment is expected to start shortly as agreed and last for about 6 months. For the right person, there are opportunities for extension.

In addition to having experience in transport booking, we are looking for a structured and analytical problem solver, with good collaboration skills and a flexible attitude. Furthermore, you are used to taking responsibility and thrive in a role where you can influence in a family-oriented company with short decision-making paths and an open atmosphere. Communication is one of your strengths, both internally and externally.

We believe that you:

• Have experience in transport or logistics planning from previous roles

• Are comfortable working in business systems

• Have good knowledge of Swedish and English

• Have a driver's license
