About the Job

At Logistics Service, we handle all logistics within Region Halland.

We are responsible for our own central warehouse, mail, and both external and internal transportation throughout the region. The operation is complex and plays an important role as we continuously look for new opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality.

Internal logistics service means that staff are responsible for various forms of transportation tasks at the hospital. The transporters work closely with the healthcare staff to ensure that patient flow is as smooth as possible and contribute to high quality in the department. The tasks for the staff mainly involve various forms of transport assignments using a towing vehicle and carts. The assignments require a lot of collaboration, both within the workgroup and with healthcare staff. The job also involves contact with patients and relatives, where employees enhance the patient's experience of quality. The tasks also include moving furniture between departments and meeting rooms.

With internal logistics service, we support the healthcare units with various tasks that provide benefit and value to the healthcare staff, allowing them to focus on their patients and their care. With internal logistics service, we work individually and offer employees a flexible and varied work content. As an employer, we expect you as an employee to have the right skills and ability to perform within patient-related service.

Qualifications

You are a positive person who is engaged and contributes to a good team spirit to create a pleasant workplace. You take responsibility for your work and understand that you are part of an important whole. In your work, you may come into contact with patients, relatives, and healthcare staff, so it is important that you are social, outgoing, and have good communication skills. We also see that you have the ability to be flexible and can prioritize between tasks when needed. Since heavy lifting is involved, the position requires good physical fitness.

If you are considered for a summer job with us, you must be at least 18 years old before the summer position begins. To work with us, you must have a forklift license, and a driver's license B is an advantage. We prefer that you have worked in a similar organization with logistics, warehousing, and freight transport, but this is not a requirement. Good ability to handle various computer systems is an advantage.

For safety reasons, you must be able to understand written instructions and communicate with colleagues and other partners, so very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required. Personal suitability is of great importance.
