Are you the one who makes logistics work, even when conditions change throughout the day? Do you enjoy planning, optimizing, and coordinating transports so that everything lands correctly – on time and in a smart and safe way? At Derome, you will work at the heart of our transport operations, in a role where your structure, communication skills, and solution focus make a real difference in everyday life.

Your main responsibilities:

As a transport manager, you have a central position where you create structure, drive flows forward, and ensure that our transports operate efficiently in everyday life. You will work both operationally and developmentally, with many points of contact and significant responsibility.

• Plan, coordinate, and lead transports within the Derome Group
• Ensure high delivery precision, good fill rates, and cost-effective flows
• Lead and coach drivers and be responsible for daily transport management in your area
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with drivers, carriers, and internal contacts
• Work with follow-up, improvement efforts, and development of processes and digital workflows
• Manage external hiring of transports as needed

Qualifications

To thrive in the role of transport manager, you have experience in transport and logistics and enjoy a role where collaboration, communication, and problem-solving are central. You are confident in yourself, easily build trust, and enjoy helping others succeed.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in transport management or a similar role in logistics
• High social competence and enjoys a communicative and leading role
• A solution-oriented and structured working method
• The ability to handle many parallel tasks
• Drive, accountability, and a coaching approach
• Proficiency in English
