Do you want to be an active part of driving Willhem Halmstad's operational optimization and energy efficiency? We are establishing a new role as an Operations Technician at Willhem Halmstad. About the position

As part of the Halmstad team, you will be welcomed by a great group of colleagues with various roles within management. You will work to ensure stable and cost-effective operations of primarily our district heating plants, heat pump systems, ventilation units, and solar power systems, and you will be an important link to our suppliers. As an Operations Technician at Willhem, you will have great opportunities to improve and elevate the level of our property portfolio from an operational perspective.

Your clients are the property managers in the area, and you will collaborate closely with our property caretakers regarding faults and maintenance. You will also work closely with the responsible operations engineer at the head office on energy optimization issues.

As an Operations Technician, you will monitor, optimize, and patrol, as well as plan and perform maintenance. You will also handle alarms and troubleshoot, ensuring that faults are rectified in both central installations and in the heating and ventilation systems of our customers. To assist you, you will perform measurements, adjust settings, and follow up on operational parameters. Depending on your background, you may either order corrective actions and follow up on the delivery or carry them out yourself. You will be engaged in matters related to regulatory inspections and comment on deviations in energy consumption. You will report to one of the property managers.

Your profile

To step into the role effectively, we believe you have several years of practical experience in the HVAC or property industry and have a basic understanding of the building's energy balance and technical systems. You understand both flow diagrams and drawings and have good computer skills. You may currently work as an Operations Technician or have a background as a plumbing or ventilation technician, control engineer, or electrician and want to develop and work in a varied and broader role. Vocational training in operations, energy, and property technology is advantageous but not required. Since the work is primarily carried out on-site at our properties, a valid B driver's license is required.

As a person, you enjoy working outdoors and practically, are solution-oriented with a high service mindset, and have the ability to plan and prioritize your workday. You are driven and appreciate being part of a team that works together towards common goals.
