Business Description

The home care consists of seven units: Northern, Southern, Close, Eastern, Support Unit, Night Unit, and Resource Unit. All units, except for the rural units, are co-located on Upplagsvägen together with the home care nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Through individually assessed needs-based interventions, we strengthen the individual's ability to manage their daily life and enable them to stay in a safe and familiar environment.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant in Home Care Southern, you provide service, personal care, and social support to clients in their own homes. You should bring joy, security, and be a responsive contact person. Our clients have individual needs and wishes, and we strive to match staff accordingly through planning within the workgroup.

The work includes planning, implementation, follow-up, and documentation of interventions according to the organization's quality goals. You collaborate closely with colleagues and other professionals to ensure the best possible care. The assignment also includes representative roles within the team. A computer and mobile phone are used as working tools, and it is desirable that you have good computer skills. Your tasks include documenting and communicating with various parties, which requires you to have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form. In the organization, we use, among others, Pulsen Combine, TES, Skyresponse, DF response.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Has a nursing education or other education that the employer considers equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience or a genuine interest in working in home care.
• Is flexible, meticulous, and has a professional and respectful approach. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
• Can express themselves well in spoken and written Swedish.
• Has good digital competence.
• Enjoys both teamwork and independent responsibility.
• A driver's license is required.
• Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage.

Working Hours/Duration

Permanent employment. A probationary period may be applied. Employment rate 100%. Working hours day/evening/weekend
