About the Position

As a Production Manager at Nordkalk, you will lead the daily operations, reporting directly to the Production Director. You will also ensure that production runs safely, steadily, and efficiently to meet customer delivery requirements. Your focus will be on optimizing safety and production, problem-solving, and managing risks in a dynamic environment. Nordkalk always prioritizes safety, so we expect you to have a solid safety mindset and a desire to contribute to creating and developing a safety culture.

Your Main Responsibilities Include:

• Overall daily and leadership responsibility for the production team, a group of approximately 10 employees
• Driving a safe execution of production
• Proactively reviewing, evaluating, and planning improvements related to both safety and production
• Planning and coordinating production, raw material handling, material flows, and loading
• Adapting to changes and managing unforeseen events
• Basic administration
• Supporting the Production Director with various administrative tasks

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with leadership experience in an operational production environment, preferably within quarrying, construction, or mining industries. Alternatively, you may have experience in a similar role within the industrial or construction sectors. You are attracted to a broad area of responsibility, have leadership experience, and likely have experience in developing and maintaining processes and working methods. To succeed and thrive in this role, you possess a technical understanding of machinery and production equipment. Furthermore, you have knowledge and experience with ISO standards, documentation, and quality requirements. You are not afraid to work hands-on in the operations, and your daily work is close to operations. A valid driver's license (B) is required.

Personal Qualities:

We are looking for a confident and stable leader with strong problem-solving skills and risk awareness. You are accustomed to making decisions independently and are driven by creating a well-functioning and efficient production. To succeed in this role, you have a good ability to engage with different types of people and thrive in an environment where conditions can change at short notice. You work towards a culture of humility where colleagues help each other when needed.
