Supply Chain Specialist for Leading Global Pharmaceutical Company

SJR is now recruiting a Supply Chain Specialist for our client, a leading global pharmaceutical company with offices in Solna & Uppsala. This is a consulting assignment starting on March 16th for 9 months with a chance of extension. The role is 80% onsite at our client's branch in Uppsala and 20% remote.

About the Position

As a Supply Chain Specialist – Project Support, you will play a central role in the Supply Chain organization, supporting the department in both ongoing and upcoming projects. You will work closely with planning, purchasing, and production functions and be involved in projects related to new product launches, product design changes, and changes in production processes. This position is suitable for you if you thrive in a project-intensive environment and appreciate working broadly within supply chain with a strong focus on structure, accuracy, and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage Change Requests for projects
• Maintain oversight of all open activities and deadlines
• Follow up on project plans and timelines, escalating deviations as necessary
• Be responsible for Master Data setups and MRP parameters for new and existing materials
• Manage and update Bill of Materials for intermediate and finished products
• Prepare Change Control documentation for new SKUs and components
• Follow up on project-related launch activities within planning
• Manage phase-out processes for materials and establish disposition reports
• Work closely with project managers, production, and material planners to ensure project progress
• Participate in weekly project meetings and global launch readiness meetings
• Collaborate with purchasing, production, engineering, and quality
• Support Supply Chain with material planning/purchasing
• Work according to local and global SOPs

Suitable Background

You have a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, or equivalent. You have 2–5 years of experience in material or production planning, preferably within the medical technology or pharmaceutical industry, and you are familiar with working in ERP systems such as SAP. You have a good understanding of End-to-End supply chain flows and experience working in project-intensive environments. You are proficient in Microsoft Office and project visualization tools, and you communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.
