e-motions is growing and is now looking for two experienced and dedicated mechanics/assemblers for our workshop in Stigamo, Jönköping.

We have recently moved into new premises where we build, assemble, and test our machines before delivery to customers. This provides us with good working conditions, order and clarity in projects, and the opportunity to ensure high quality from the start.

About the role

You will primarily work in our workshop with the assembly and compilation of machines and facilities. The work is practical and varied, involving building machines from the ground up according to drawings.

This may involve mechanical assembly of machines and subsystems, assembly of sorting equipment, packing machines, and other custom solutions, as well as pre-assembly and testing of equipment before delivery.

If necessary, you will also participate in installations at customer sites together with colleagues. You will work together on assembly, adjustment, and commissioning of the equipment. The work is carried out in close collaboration with both mechanical and electrical expertise, but your primary role is the mechanical work.

Your background

We believe you have experience as a mechanic, assembler, or machine builder, perhaps from an industrial, workshop, or manufacturing environment.

The most important thing is that you have good experience in mechanical assembly, can read and work from drawings, and feel comfortable working independently in the workshop. You preferably have experience with bearings, shafts, drives, pneumatics, and motors. If you also have some experience in electrical assembly, it is a strong advantage, but not a requirement.

Good to know

The location is Jönköping, Stigamo. The position is a permanent full-time employment with a probationary period. The work is mainly based in the workshop, but travel may occur in connection with installations, primarily within Sweden.
