About us

Welcome to Närhälsan Staffing Unit, our mission is to replace staff during illness and other absences and prioritize our efforts based on Närhälsan's needs at approximately 40 health centers and child health centers in Greater Gothenburg.

With us work nurses, district nurses, pediatric nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries.

To nurture the community within the staffing unit, we meet regularly for joint workplace meetings and development days. Here we have the opportunity to address issues related to the different working methods and local routines of the health centers.

About the job

Your tasks at the health center cover a wide range of responsibilities in the field of general medicine where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work health-promoting, advisory, and treatment-oriented in primary care, both via phone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic.

The work involves both acute and planned activities. You work largely independently with your own clinic where you triage, treat, and follow up with patients. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues in the unit and cross-professionally in the team, but also together with other actors such as home care and other specialist care. Together with the health center management, you are responsible for developing and driving the operations forward.

About you

You are a licensed nurse and have at least a couple of years of documented experience working at a health center and possess broad clinical and practical skills. You should easily adapt to new environments, be confident in making assessments and decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving abilities, and can effectively prioritize your tasks.

In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork, and for you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts. You can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish, and you are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and visits to the clinic, as well as having an interest in digitalization.

A professional approach and a good attitude towards customers, patients, and colleagues are a given for you. We also see that you live up to Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Caring, and Innovative.

Other

Travel in the service occurs, a B driver's license is required.

About the recruitment process

Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call relevant candidates for a phone interview. Thereafter, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is to help us understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
