Nursing Assistant, welcome to Ward 22

Ward 22, a department specializing in lung, gastroenterological, and hematological diseases. Our goal is to open more care places as soon as possible to meet the demand for medical care places within our specialty. In lung medicine, the largest diagnostic groups are COPD, lung cancer, lung fibrosis, and various drainage procedures in the pleural cavity. The gastroenterological diseases include inflammatory bowel diseases and liver cirrhosis, along with complications arising from these. In the hematological field, we deal with acute leukemias, myeloma, and lymphoma. The work involves the usual tasks of a nursing assistant in a care ward, providing good care for patients in need of inpatient care due to illness. The job also includes palliative and psychosocial work with often severely ill patients. Care is in constant motion, and together with colleagues, you have the opportunity to help develop and shape the daily work in the department.

Your mission:

As a nursing assistant with us, you will work in a team with nurses and doctors, as well as other professionals based on the patients' needs. Together, you and your colleagues support each other throughout the work shift. We value a culture of collaboration, cooperation, and joy. Thanks to our various specialties, you will gain a broad foundation and the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in an area based on your interests and the needs of the organization. The work involves standard nursing tasks in the care ward.

• For those new to the profession, training at Compus, with dedicated time over two semesters for additional skills development in various areas related to our medical patients.
• For those with experience, training based on personal needs.
• There are two nursing responsible assistants in the department who will support you as you start in your new workplace.
• A strong focus on present leadership and continuous support from colleagues and managers.

We are looking for:

We are looking for a nursing assistant with experience in similar work, who is curious, engaged, and confident. Together, we will provide safe and secure care to inpatient patients in need of our specialist competence.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• You have a degree from the Health and Care Program or equivalent relevant education.

Desirable:

• Specialization in Emergency Care and Medicine 2
• Experience in working with lung care, gastroenterology, and/or hematology
• It is important that you are flexible, have a high ability to collaborate, and enjoy working in a team
