Here, you will meet children, adolescents, and families with various diagnoses in both medicine, surgery, and orthopedics. The Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine Clinic in Dalarna is a county clinic. In Falun, there is inpatient care with a neonatal unit and a department for ages 0-18 where pediatric, surgical, and orthopedic patients are cared for. For longer outpatient visits and treatments, there is a day care service.

In outpatient care, there are clinics in Falun and Mora where all subspecialties within pediatric medicine are represented. Organizationally, the physiotherapist belongs to the paramedical group at the clinic together with social workers, play therapists, and dietitians.

As a physiotherapist with us, you will work with assessment, investigation, treatment, and follow-up of children and adolescents aged 0-18 years, both inpatient and outpatient. You contribute to rehabilitation, counseling, and education for patients, families, and staff.

You will meet patients in many different areas (neurology, oncology, neonatology, rheumatology, respiratory, asthma/allergy, cardiology, orthopedics, etc.). The work is varied and developing, and you need to be able to work independently and take responsibility while also having close collaboration with other professionals. You will be part of several diagnostic teams around children and families together with, among others, doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, dietitians, social workers, play therapists, and hospital teachers.

Requirements:

• Licensed physiotherapist
• Professional experience as a physiotherapist for at least two years

Meritorious:

• Previous experience working as a physiotherapist with children and young people

This job involves direct and regular contact with children and/or young people.
