Where collaboration, trust, and clarity are at the center. In respite care, we work with person-centered care, where every meeting makes a difference and where you as a care assistant play an important role in creating safety, care, and quality. In May 2026, the operation will move into newly built and modern premises in Skogstorp. Do you want to be part of the journey?

Respite care is a form of accommodation for individuals living independently who need care and supervision, while their relatives require relief. An individual assessment of the user's need for respite care is made, which can be granted for up to two weeks each month. The accommodation is located on Klostergatan, has 14 places, and about 35-40 users who return regularly. The unit employs 17 staff members, a team leader, and a unit manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a care assistant, you will have a varied job with significant responsibility. You provide support and service to users to create a meaningful, safe, and active everyday life. You meet users with varying needs and diagnoses, which places high demands on both experience and competence. You work with everything from qualified care and activities to support during meals and cleaning. In this role, you have delegation, work with documentation, and have contact with relatives. The work also involves close collaboration with the rehabilitation unit, nurses, and other professionals to ensure safe care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant and has experience from both nursing homes and home care. You have previously worked with delegated care interventions, preferably medications, insulin, or other interventions that require delegation. If you have experience working in a dementia care setting and/or have held any advocacy role previously, it is an advantage. Since we have many users who rotate regularly, it is important that you have good documentation skills to provide safe and person-centered care.

You are proactive and curious, with the ability to take responsibility and work independently. You are driven to develop and improve the operation and have a flexible attitude that allows you to easily adapt to different situations. You have a good approach towards both users and their relatives and always want to provide the best for them. Being present and engaged in meetings with people comes naturally to you, and you see the value in creating safety and comfort in the daily lives of our users.

Does this sound like a position for you? We warmly welcome your application!
