The Health and Care Administration is responsible for the municipality's elderly care, health care, authority exercise, ordering of services, and provides care and support on its own. Your tasks
Work in the short-term department is varied, and no day is the same as the needs of the residents differ in terms of medical, rehabilitative, and supportive interventions. You and your colleagues are an important piece in creating a meaningful stay before returning home or to another residence. The tasks are varied and include, among other things, rehabilitation training, medication administration, and low-arousal approaches. There may also be advanced delegations, such as tracheostomy care. You will have the opportunity for development as we work in multiprofessional teams together with licensed personnel and participate in follow-up meetings with case managers.

In addition to working in multiprofessional teams, we also have quality councils and are curious about welfare technology. Right now, we are working on the BEATA project (needs-adapted supervision in other ways), a digitized working method.

Your workplace
Åleryd's nursing home offers 138 care places covering somatic care, dementia care, short-term accommodation, and day activities. We have around 160 employees working with us. Our facility has a beautiful inner courtyard with an experience garden and also a café where relatives and users can enjoy quality time together. Additionally, our employees have access to the café to buy snacks and lunch.

Åleryd's short-term unit consists of four departments, two of which have a somatic focus and two for individuals with dementia. With us, you will become part of an exciting and fast-paced environment where you encounter complex medical cases and work alongside highly skilled colleagues.

We are now looking for three new colleagues who want to become part of our wonderful team! The positions are permanent employment at 75-100%, with working hours scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

You who are applying
We are looking for someone with a recognized education in health and care, and it is a plus if you are a specialist nursing assistant. Experience and knowledge of working with individuals with extensive care needs in short-term operations is advantageous. If you also have knowledge of or experience with the IBIC working method, low-arousal approaches, and a salutogenic approach, that is positive. The tasks include contact with users and documentation, so you need to communicate both verbally and in writing in Swedish. Additionally, you are expected to use digital tools in your work, and it is an advantage if you have experience documenting in journal systems.

As a person, you are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks and drive your and the team's work forward. You also work well with others, listen, and communicate clearly. It is also important that you have an empathetic ability that allows you to understand others' perspectives and situations.
