About the KVA Trelleborg Project
KVA Trelleborg is one of Sweden's largest correctional facilities, with a building area of 110,000 square meters that houses both remand and correctional institutions, which NCC, in collaboration with Specialfastigheter, is building for the Swedish Prison and Probation Service. The project is carried out by a fully integrated organization between NCC and Specialfastigheter, collaborating fully! The preliminary construction start is in the spring of 2026, and the actual construction time is 4 to 6 years.

The Role of Project Leader
As a project leader in KVA Trelleborg, you are the link between system documentation and production. You lead a project group consisting of specialists in areas such as calculations, installation, procurement, and production, as well as external consultants and clients. Together, you will realize system documents into construction documents. It is important for you to ensure that the project requirements, based on legislation and project goals, are met so that production can build in a safe and efficient manner.

You are responsible for and follow up on the consultants' time spent on your project.

You thrive in an environment where collaboration is crucial for success. As a project leader, you create a clear overall picture and ensure consensus regarding the project's timeline, so that all participants work towards the same goal.

You drive your own project management but belong to a group of project leaders who gather under a coordinated project leader.

Your Profile as a Project Leader
It is a requirement that you have worked as a project leader and therefore have a great understanding of the project management process, construction processes, construction technology, costs, and contract law. Experience with larger complex projects and safety-classified environments is an advantage.

You are a generalist with a strategic mindset who recognizes the importance of details. It is also important that you feel confident in your leadership and dare to trust others, but also know that check-ins and requirements are crucial for a successful project management.

As a project leader, you have many internal and external contacts where not everyone shares the same view, so being attentive, diplomatic, but also decisive are qualities that this position requires.

You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

About Building Division Large Projects
The Building Large Projects division develops and leads complex construction projects with an order value of approximately 1.5 billion or more.
