Job Responsibilities

Care and Nursing Home

Your job responsibilities include providing our tenants with care, support, and assistance based on their individual needs and wishes. This may involve helping with personal care, social interaction, medication, shopping, laundry, and cleaning. You will work closely with your colleagues and other professionals around the tenants. The job requires you to have medication delegation, which you will receive after completing the approved training as part of your introduction.

Short-Term Unit

The short-term unit has a total of 20 places located at Ängegärdes care and nursing home in Kungälv, just a stone's throw from Kungälv's center.

In the short-term unit, we work closely with rehabilitation staff, nurses, and care managers. Since our clients are here for a shorter time, we assess their needs for assistance and thereby create a plan for their future. We assist clients with personal hygiene, help them dress if needed, and support them during meals if necessary. The work also involves managing delegated tasks such as medications, tube feeding (PEG), wound care, rehabilitation training, walks, etc., through delegation from a nurse. It is important to ensure that our clients and their relatives feel secure with good care and support for the future. We also have a significant and important task of caring for people at the end of life, VILS. To work in the short-term unit, you need to have training in care and nursing or previous experience in similar jobs.
