Talent Plastics is an injection molding operation with technically advanced plastic parts and high demands for stable production. Machines run every day, and behind each part lies a tool that must function exactly as it should. The operation continuously evolves in line with production requirements and technical conditions. The production is characterized by structure, responsibility, and close collaboration between functions, where every part is significant to the whole.

For us, tools are a direct prerequisite for production to function. When a tool loses its function, the entire flow is affected, and it is noticed immediately. Here, plastic parts are manufactured with high demands for accuracy and reliability, which requires tools that last over time. This is where you come in, with the responsibility for ensuring that the tools are reviewed, documented, and ready for the next run.

As a TOOL TECHNICIAN

you are a key person in the tool team. You work closely with a colleague in the same role and the tool manager with a shared focus: to ensure stable production through well-functioning tools and structured, preventive maintenance. In production, a large number of molds of varying sizes and complexities are handled, from smaller tools to tools weighing several tons, with both hot and cold runner systems. The work includes disassembly, cleaning, replacement of wear parts, as well as documentation and follow-up according to established routines. It is a practical role with significant responsibility and clear impact. The results of your work are immediately visible in production, through fewer stoppages, smoother operation, and better flow.

You will among other things:

  • Perform service, cleaning, and maintenance of tools to ensure smooth and stable operation
  • Replace wear parts, lubricate, and restore function - so that the tools perform at their best and last longer
  • Troubleshoot tool-related issues together with production and find solutions
  • Document status, actions, and needs according to routines - for control and traceability
  • Flag and plan for larger service or external repairs in good time
  • Contribute to order, structure, and clear workflows in the tool storage - for better traceability and a more efficient flow in daily operations

Your work is crucial to minimize downtime and keep production running according to plan. Over time, you will get to know the tools in depth and contribute to developing methods and routines around service and preventive work.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for someone with a technical background and experience working with tools in an industrial environment. You may currently work as a setter and want to take the next step, or have a background in maintenance, mechanics, or workshop where you are used to working practically with machines and technical components. You have good workshop experience, can read drawings, and have a basic understanding of measurement technology. Experience from the plastic or injection molding industry is an advantage, but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you are technically skilled and want to learn the tools in depth. As a person, you are meticulous and responsible. You thrive in an independent role where you take ownership of your tasks and ensure that the work is done in a structured manner. You are unpretentious, work well in a team, and contribute to good collaboration. The position is daytime-based.

We value respect, helpfulness, and a solution-oriented attitude. We work together, take responsibility, and develop over time, and we are looking for someone who wants to be part of that journey. Welcome with your application!
