Property Repair Technician at LG Söderberg Fastigheter AB

We are now looking for a property repair technician who, together with colleagues, assists existing and new tenants with their homes and premises.

About LG Söderberg Fastigheter AB

We are a family-owned company that has been around for over 30 years, building, owning, and managing properties in Örebro.

We own and manage residential properties, shops, offices, industrial spaces, and warehouses. Today, we have 24 employees and manage over 1,400 apartments and approximately 73,000 square meters of commercial space.

The company has stable growth and focuses on developing and investing in new and existing projects. Our working method is characterized by sustainability – through smart energy solutions, environmentally friendly building materials, and social engagement.

Management is carried out by our own staff, which allows for quick decisions, high quality, and close relationships with our tenants. We are a member of Fastighetsägarna Sverige and affiliated with Fastigo.

We are now expanding our team with an additional property repair technician.

Would you like to be part of our wonderful team? Then this could be the right opportunity for you.

About the position

You will be based at our office in central Örebro and have your own responsibility for a number of properties. This means you will plan, prioritize, and carry out work continuously – with great freedom and clear decision-making authority within your area of responsibility.

The role is practical and varied, encompassing both ongoing service and preventive maintenance. You will be out in the properties daily and be an important contact for our tenants.

The content of the position will be adapted to your experience and skills. If you have broad experience, you will have greater responsibility. If you have specialized skills in areas such as construction, electrical work, or plumbing, we will utilize that and adapt the role accordingly.

You will work independently but in close collaboration with colleagues in management, technical, and administrative roles.

Responsibilities

  • Daily supervision, rounds, and self-inspections according to the control plan
  • Ensure that the properties are clean, intact, and well-maintained for our tenants
  • Address service and repair requests in homes and premises
  • Practical repairs – everything from changing cylinders and adjusting doors to fixing broken moldings or performing simpler construction, electrical, and plumbing work
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Documentation of completed work and reporting of deviations
  • Contact, ordering, and follow-up of contractors
  • Participation in operational optimization and energy efficiency
  • Some snow removal and ice control during winter

We work in the systems Momentum Fastighet and Microsoft Office.

Who are you?

You are self-driven, structured, and a solution-oriented problem solver. You take responsibility for the properties you manage and work with quality and time awareness.

You have a professional and service-oriented approach, take initiative, and feel confident in making decisions. At the same time, you enjoy collaborating and contributing to a good atmosphere in the team.

We expect you to:

  • Be proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in property service, property management, or equivalent practical work
  • Hold a valid B driver's license

Preferred qualifications:

  • Craftsman background (construction, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry)
  • Education in property technology
  • Experience with case management systems

Our offer

We offer a stimulating and developing role in a stable and growing company with short decision-making paths and a family-like atmosphere.

You will receive:

  • Own responsibility for properties
  • Great freedom under responsibility
  • A well-equipped service vehicle during working hours
  • Wellness allowance
  • Annual medical check-up
  • Collective agreement through Fastigo

Location: Örebro

Start date: By agreement (preferably as soon as possible)

Scope: Permanent, weekdays 07:00–16:00
