Do you want a varied and practical job where you make a real difference every day? We are now looking for an engaged and service-oriented janitor for local and environmental services.

Are you the one we are looking for?

As a janitor with us, you will be an important part of the municipality's service operations. You will work together with cleaners, warehouse staff, and other colleagues to create safe, well-functioning, and pleasant environments in the municipality's properties. The work is mainly located in the municipality's preschools, schools, and sports halls.

Your Responsibilities

In the role of janitor, you will be responsible for:

• Performing supervision, operation, and maintenance of the municipality's properties
• Working with both preventive and corrective maintenance
• Handling incoming work orders
• Participating in systematic fire protection work
• Assisting in evacuation drills
• Managing key handling
• Performing simpler janitorial tasks in collaboration with cleaners
• Participating in snow removal and other seasonal tasks

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a high school education with a focus on property management, janitorial work, or other education and/or experience deemed equivalent by the employer
• Has experience in property management, preferably in a service function
• Is practical and enjoys working both independently and with others

Laxå Municipality is geographically extensive, and the position therefore requires a B driver's license.
