Welcome to us

Brommagården is a dementia care facility with 36 places for individuals with cognitive impairment.

Two nurses work daytime Monday to Friday. Each nurse is responsible for one plan. Traneberg is a dementia care facility with 44 places for individuals with cognitive impairment. Three nurses share responsibility for each department. On public holidays, weekends, and evenings, nursing responsibilities are handled by on-call services.

Our operations are based on holistic thinking, openness, respectful treatment, and responsibility. The elderly person's integrity and right to make decisions are self-evident prerequisites for our work to ensure that the elderly feel involved in their daily lives and in their care. We place great emphasis on a good reception of the elderly and their relatives in various meetings. We work in multidisciplinary teams and take part in the elderly's life stories to create security, meaning, and a sense of context. We strive for good relationships with relatives and see them as a valuable resource in our work, thus placing great importance on a good reception of the elderly and their relatives.

We need extra staff who can work shorter or longer periods as well as individual shifts, planned or at short notice. The goal is to always have at least two nurses on duty, one permanent nurse and one substitute nurse.

Your role

The nursing responsibility is shared between two nurses at Brommagården and three nurses at Traneberg's Vob. The work is scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday. As a nurse, you are responsible for health and medical care for residents and collaborate with the various professions present in the unit. The tasks are typical for a nurse in a care and nursing home. Documentation is done in Stockholm City's documentation program Vodok.

Your competence and experience

You are a licensed nurse with experience in elderly care for individuals with cognitive impairment. You have experience with the documentation system Vodok. It is advantageous if you are used to working with digital signature systems (Appva) and have good knowledge of documentation and experience from working with national quality registers such as Senior Alert, BPSD, and the Palliative register. The City of Stockholm works with competence-based recruitment aimed at recognizing each person's competence and thus combating discrimination.

To work with the elderly and individuals with disabilities in their homes in Stockholm City, you must present an extract from the criminal record. The extract should not be older than 6 months from the date of issue.
