Business Description

The home care consists of seven units: Northern, Southern, Close, Eastern, Support Unit, Night Unit, and Resource Unit. All units, except for the rural units, are co-located on Upplagsvägen together with home healthcare nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists.

Through individually assessed needs, we strengthen the individual's ability to manage their daily life and enable them to stay in a safe and familiar environment.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant in the Night Unit, you play an important role in creating security when it is needed the most.

You will work with personal care and other approved services in the individual's home. The work involves planning, implementation, follow-up, and documentation of services according to the organization's quality goals. You will collaborate closely with colleagues and other professionals to ensure the best possible care. The Night Unit is responsible for planned night interventions throughout the urban area and responds to security alarms across the municipality. The work is usually done in teams of two, but solo work may occur. Since we operate over a large geographical area, you need to feel comfortable driving a car year-round. A computer and mobile phone are used as work tools, and it is desirable that you have good computer skills. Your tasks include documenting and communicating with various parties, which requires you to have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

In the organization, we use, among others, Pulsen Combine, TES, Skyresponse, DF response.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Has a nursing education or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience or a genuine interest in working in home care.
• Is flexible, meticulous, and has a professional and respectful demeanor.
• Can express themselves well in spoken and written Swedish.
• Has good digital competence.
• Enjoys both teamwork and independent responsibility.
• A driver's license is a requirement.
• Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

The municipality of Gällivare is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage.

Working Hours/Duration

Permanent employment, night shifts 34.33 hours/week. Employment rate 100%. A probationary period may be applied.
