About the role As an à la carte server at Smådalarö Gård, you play an important part in creating the overall experience our guests seek. You primarily work in the evenings with à la carte, conferences, weddings, and larger events in an inspiring seaside environment, where each service is an opportunity to contribute to Sweden's best customer experiences in food and meetings.

You are responsible for ensuring that the dining room is inviting and well-prepared, keeping track of menus and content, and guiding guests with confidence and professionalism – always with a smile. You handle orders and payments carefully, perform cash closing, and ensure that both the restaurant and terrace are clean and ready for the next service.

You work closely with the kitchen, bar, and head waiter in a team characterized by teamwork, responsibility, and respect, where we always act based on “Always a satisfied customer” and “I am the customer experience”. This position is a seasonal employment with start date according to agreement during June–August.

Your profile We are looking for someone with experience in serving from a restaurant or hotel, or alternatively, a strong desire to learn the profession and develop with us. You love high-level service and have a genuine interest in hospitality. For you, it is natural to contribute to a good atmosphere at work and to collaborate with colleagues in all departments to achieve common goals regarding profitability, development, and customer experience.

You are engaged, curious, and thrive in a fast-paced environment without compromising on quality or details. You are flexible, solution-oriented, and take initiative when needed. Attention to detail is a given for you, and you make guests feel both seen, welcomed, and secure.

You speak fluent Swedish and English. If you also have an interest in food and beverages, preferably with beverage knowledge, we see it as an advantage.

Your working hours are mainly scheduled between 3:00 PM and 12:00 AM.
