Dox is a French-Italian rooftop bistro with an international atmosphere, located right by the train station with a fantastic view of Alingsås. We have been open for over two years now – and our journey has just begun!

Responsibilities:

• Take orders from guests and provide recommendations on food and drinks.
• Serve food and drinks in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring that guests are satisfied throughout their meal.
• Greet guests and create a positive atmosphere to provide a memorable experience.
• Clean and prepare tables for the next seating, including replenishing cutlery and glasses.
• Handle cash register and payments, ensuring that all transactions are recorded correctly.
• Follow up on customer satisfaction by gathering feedback and professionally handling any complaints.
• Work together with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Keep the work area clean and organized according to current hygiene and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Experience in the restaurant industry, in a waiter role, is required.
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Knowledge of menus and drinks to provide good recommendations to guests.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders at the same time, especially during peak hours.
• Service-oriented and positive attitude with a focus on creating a pleasant guest experience.
• Good teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Flexibility and availability to work evenings and weekends.
