Stålprofil is facing a generational shift where much technical knowledge needs to be passed on, developed, and shared. We are now looking for someone who wants to step into a key role and help drive the work with our steel profile systems and safety products forward. This is a role for you who want to combine technology, problem-solving, and business in your daily work and who thrives in an environment where people help each other, share knowledge, and do not make themselves indispensable.

You will play an important part in creating technical documentation, supporting the prescriptive lead, and being involved in creating solutions that are actually used in real projects.

This is Stålprofil

Founded in 1987, Stålprofil is now an international supplier of steel profile systems for public environments. Based in Uddevalla and with about 30 employees, the company works with technically advanced and often customized solutions within areas such as fire, safety, and facade systems.

Stålprofil is known for its speed, flexibility, and ability to solve tasks that others decline. Here, there is strong technical expertise, but also an unpretentious attitude where we test, learn, and develop together.

Focus in your role

In the role of technical project manager, you will work to drive and develop Stålprofil's technical offerings. This involves everything from product development and documentation to contact with customers, consultants, and testing institutes.

You will, among other things, work on developing technical documentation for testing and certification, interpreting and implementing standards and regulations, and providing technical advice in projects. An important part is also to draw in CAD and develop solutions that work both technically and practically.

The role is both operational and development-oriented and suits you who want to be close to both the technology and the people around you.

If we may wish

We believe that you have a technical education in construction, machinery, or equivalent and that you are used to reading and understanding drawings. You have worked with CAD, preferably AutoCAD or Inventor, and have an interest in how systems actually work in reality.

Experience with doors, facade systems, or security-classified products is an advantage, as well as an understanding of loads, calculations, and technical documentation. You do not need to know everything from the start, but you need to be curious, willing to learn, and willing to take responsibility.
