Pajala Municipality is looking for a Lead Care Assistant

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Lead Care Assistant, you will have a central role in the daily work at the facility and to some extent within regular housing. You will combine regular tasks within care and support with an extended responsibility for quality, structure, and collegial support.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Perform regular tasks within care and support
• Ensure that care is provided according to established guidelines, decisions, and goals
• Support and guide colleagues in their daily work
• Act as a coordinating link in the work group
• Introduce and mentor new employees in a pedagogical and structured manner
• Participate in development and improvement work and follow up on working methods and routines
• Document and work in the organization's digital systems

You will work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues and the unit manager. The position does not include personnel responsibility, work environment responsibility, or financial responsibility. The closest supervisor is the unit manager. Working hours are Monday to Friday, daytime, and may change.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Trained care assistant
• Proof of protected professional title as a care assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• Experience in elderly care
• Confident in your professional role and have a good ability to prioritize and structure work
• Have a professional approach and good collaboration skills
• Have pedagogical skills and enjoy mentoring and introducing colleagues
• Have good digital competence and are used to documenting according to applicable regulations

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Recruitment is ongoing. Driver's license B for manual transmission is required. A probationary period applies. Request for an extract from the suspicion and criminal record register.
