The inpatient department is part of the specialist clinic for Medicine, Geriatrics, and Rehabilitation. We have 34 inpatient beds where we care for patients in two sections, one containing geriatrics and rehabilitation beds, and the other caring for patients with various acute internal medical conditions. Our large patient groups include infection patients and patients with cardiological conditions, COPD/Asthma, as well as geriatric patients and those in need of rehabilitation after stroke or orthopedic conditions.

We tailor your onboarding so that you feel secure working independently, and we continuously hold internal training in the areas where we need specialized competence.

Job Responsibilities

The tasks are varied and range from wound dressings, medication management to medical technology equipment, contact with relatives, and record-keeping.

Weekend work is included. There is an opportunity to participate in planning your schedule. We use working time reduction according to the applicable agreement.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for to join our team? We are looking for someone who enjoys working with challenges and can juggle many tasks at once. The ability to handle stress is a must as various types of acute situations arise. You should be able to prioritize your tasks and be flexible, which is a great asset in the job. We place great importance on personal qualities such as teamwork, a positive attitude, and engagement. For us, a professional approach, responsibility, good interaction, and patient safety are always current and prioritized issues.

Requirements:

• licensed nurse (or about to complete your nursing education soon)

Meritorious:

• previous experience in emergency care and/or specialist care
• advanced training in one of our areas of focus
