As an occupational therapist in Tibro Municipality, you will belong to a Rehabilitation Unit consisting of five physiotherapists, five occupational therapists, and five rehabilitation assistants. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, you will be offered a developing job in a dynamic municipality. The Social Services in Tibro values competence, initiative, and personal development. We work based on an activating and rehabilitative approach and focus on the strengths of each patient in our care work.

As an occupational therapist with us, you will work with assessment, treatment, training, testing, and prescribing aids, as well as guiding other staff in activating and rehabilitative methods. In the Rehabilitation Unit, occupational therapists and physiotherapists work closely together in the team, and great importance is placed on collaboration with other actors around the patient, who is always placed at the center.

Tibro Municipality works according to the concept of Safe Homecoming, which briefly means intensive interventions and training with patients in their own homes after hospital stays. The aim is for the patient to regain their abilities under the best possible conditions.

The position is a temporary contract starting immediately until 26-10-31.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a licensed occupational therapist. We would like to see that you have experience working with the elderly.

As an applicant, you should have a pleasant demeanor with the patient at the center, be easy to collaborate with, and have good communication skills. You should be confident in yourself and your professional role.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
