At KommunRehab, a fantastic team works with several different professions under the same roof. We consist of assistive technology technicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation assistants, housing adaptation administrators, alarm technicians, and our administrators. We are located at Viaduktg 8.

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are now looking for you who want to work as an Assistive Technology Technician at KommunRehab in Ljungby Municipality. We offer you an independent and flexible job, initially focusing on the daily flow and inspection of hospital beds. As an assistive technology technician, you have primary responsibility for the Municipality's assistive devices and work together with licensed occupational therapists and physiotherapists, as well as rehabilitation assistants.
The areas of work include:
- Cleaning of assistive devices
- Technical service, reconditioning
- Inspection and repair of assistive devices
- Managing and updating inventory status
- Delivery and pickup of assistive devices
- Goods reception and unpacking
Documentation is done in our new operational system Myloc. The work is based on legal requirements in MDR, Medical Device Regulation, i.e., the Regulation on medical devices. In addition to the most common tasks, you may be required to participate in procurement, review of product range, orders, etc.
Working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Start date is by agreement.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has at least a high school education and has a strong interest in technology and problem-solving. Documented technical education, preferably as an Assistive Technology Technician, or experience from a similar position is advantageous. A driver's license (B) is required. The work requires good computer skills and a willingness to learn the systems we work within.
Personal qualities
As a person, you have your own drive, can prioritize, take responsibility, and see what needs to be done. You have good social skills, are easy to collaborate with, and can engage with people affected by crises and illnesses. We see that you are flexible and structured, have a service mindset, and show good treatment towards colleagues, patients, and everyone in our team. To inspect/repair assistive devices and hospital beds, you need to be able to work close to the floor, bend under beds, and kneel and get up smoothly. If you enjoy practical and active work, you will feel at home here. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
