As an electrical designer, you will be responsible for developing and documenting electrical solutions for CTC's products in accordance with the company's technical strategy, quality requirements, and development goals. The role contributes to ensuring functional, safe, and cost-effective electrical systems through cross-functional collaboration with the development, production, purchasing, and quality departments.

Your tasks will include the development of electrical diagrams, connection tables, and component selection for new and existing products, as well as creating and maintaining technical documentation in relevant PLM and CAD tools. You will ensure that designs comply with applicable standards and directives, participate in development projects, and collaborate with production to optimize electrical systems. The role also includes technical analyses, risk assessments, and validations, as well as working on cost reduction and continuous improvements in the electrical field.

In the role, you are expected to work in line with CTC's values and business principles, take responsibility for quality, time, and cost in your work, and contribute to a solution-oriented and collaborative work climate. You promote knowledge sharing between teams, act according to the company's shared values, and are engaged in continuous improvement and innovation.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have a technical education in electrical engineering, preferably as a bachelor's degree engineer or equivalent competence. You also have several years of work experience in the design profession. You should have good knowledge in electrical design and dimensioning and be accustomed to working with CAD tools. You have a good understanding of existing electrical standards, safety requirements, and EMC, LVD, and CE directives. Furthermore, it is an advantage if you have experience in EMC testing.

As a person, you are structured and meticulous with the ability to document technical solutions clearly. You have an analytical and solution-oriented approach, enjoy collaborating, and communicate well with both colleagues and customers. The role requires good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as well as a B driver's license.
